I love my family and I’m sure you love yours, too. And, with so much going on in the world, it would seem only natural to worry about the people you love. But you don’t have to continue the cycle of worrying over your family. Stand in the authority God has given you to speak life over your family and cooperate with the plans that God has for them. Listed below are 5 declarations you should speak over your family every day.

1. My family is covered by the Blood of Jesus.

If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another,  and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. (I John 1:7 NIV)

2. God protects my family from danger. Seen & Unseen.

Whoever goes to the Lord for safety, whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty,2 can say to him, “You are my defender and protector. You are my God; in you I trust.”3 He will keep you safe from all hidden dangers and from all deadly diseases.4 He will cover you with his wings; you will be safe in his care; his faithfulness will protect and defend you.5 You need not fear any dangers at night or sudden attacks during the day6     or the plagues that strike in the dark or the evils that kill in daylight.7 A thousand may fall dead beside you, ten thousand all around you, but you will not be harmed. (Psalm 91:3-7 GNT)

3. God barricades the road (situations, relationships & choices) that goes nowhere for my family.

Barricade the road that goes Nowhere; grace me with your clear revelation. (Psalm 119:29 MSG)

4. God guides the steps of my family and makes them sure.

A man’s mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure. (Proverbs 16:9 AMPC)             

5. My family hears God’s voice and it’s the only one they follow.

…and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.” (John 10:4b-5 NIV)

God loves your family, too. So, stop worrying about them and start speaking…life!
