It was a heated conversation. Nope. It was an argument. And, if I sugar-coat it, I will fail to convey how the power of God is released when we obey his instructions. If you focus on who the argument was with – whether it was me and a friend, a neighbor, a sibling or my spouse–you will miss the point because that doesn’t matter. Just suffice it to say that … it was intense.

Thankfully, I recognized the need to disengage before things were said that would require healing, for both of us. Ultimately, we agreed to disagree but, there were still salty feelings. When I spoke to God about the situation, I asked a ton of questions:

God how did it get to this? How will this ever get resolved? What does it mean when we’re both right and, in some ways, both wrong? How can this situation come to point where You receive glory?

Even after I rattled off all these questions, He wasn’t annoyed. Instead, like the patient Father that He is, when I finally got quiet enough to listen, this is what God told me to keep saying:  Love will find a way.

Once I began to say it, more grace began to flow, our hearts began to soften and patience began to show up in abundance. Love was finding a way. I don’t know what challenge you’re facing, but I believe your answer is the same as mine. Just remember that God is Love. And Love will find a way.
