Why are so many of His children hesitant to ask for more?

Looking at Ephesians 3:20, it says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”

This tells me, it’s okay to ask for more. Sometimes, we focus too much attention on what we don’t have instead of focusing all our attention on the immeasurable supply that God has. Not only does He have this supply but, it’s the same supply to which He has given us total access! Remember being a child? When your parent gave you something delicious to eat, you never hesitated to ask for more, right? You’re not a child anymore in the natural, biological sense but, you’ll always be a CHILD of God.

So, stop thinking you’re going to annoy God if you ask for seconds, you won’t. Embrace the mindset of the kid you used to be and go back to the Throne of Grace, again. Remember, Daddy God loves it when you, embrace the child in you and the never-ending supply that He is. So, go ahead. Ask for more.
