Jesus, The Greatest Gift

One of the gifts you can give God is to trust the greatest gift He’s given to you: Jesus. We tend to think that our problems and the challenges we face in life are so much bigger than anything available to provide a remedy. Then, there’s Jesus. It sounds too good to be true, right? Wrong! It’s too good not to be GOD. See, He came up with a plan — called the Plan of Redemption — to redeem us from all the things that would cause us pain, sickness, dis-ease…literally, anything having to do with the curse. He allows everything that didn’t align with the life He wanted for us and placed the price of it all, all the sin, sickness, poverty… all of it…on Jesus. Why? So that, when we accept Jesus as our savior, we could make The Great Exchange.

What’s the Deal?

So how does this Plan of Redemption work? It’s The Great Exchange. That means: Jesus took our sins, and in exchange, we received His salvation. Jesus took our sickness, and in exchange, we received His healing. He took our guilt, and in exchange, we received His innocence. Our savior took our not-enough, and in exchange, we received His abundance. Jesus took our problems, and in exchange, we received His solutions. Jesus took on death, and in exchange, we received His Life.

I’m in a season where I’m learning to trust God’s gift of Jesus at a deeper level, with all my insecurities, vulnerabilities and the places where I need to be more and more like Him.

Where Are You?

I’m in a season where I’m learning to trust God’s gift of Jesus at a deeper level, with all my insecurities, vulnerabilities and the places where I need to be more and more like Him. Faith is the willingness to take the next step, as He instructs, without knowing the outcome. I’m learning that, whenever I move (in response to what He’s said), it doesn’t matter what I see or don’t see. It doesn’t matter what I feel or don’t feel. All that matters is that He spoke and I moved. What about you? How are you practicing the Great Exchange? In what ways are you learning to trust God, and His gift of Jesus more?

Keep the Faith, LifeSpeakers.
