The List: Ten (10) Things to Remember About God During the Current Government Shutdown 

  1. God is Your Source. (1 Cor. 8: 6 AMPC)
  2. God’s Resources are Unlimited. (Eph.3:16)
  3. God still has a plan for your abundant life. ( Jeremiah 29: 1)
  4. God Keeps His Word. (Numbers 23:19)
  5. God doesn’t change. (Hebrews 13:8)
  6. God gives His peace. (Philippians 4:7)
  7. God provides revelation. (Psalm 19:1)
  8. God ensures that goodness & mercy will follow you. (Psalm 23:6)
  9. God’s faithfulness overrides fear. (Isaiah 41: 10)
  10. God will never leave you, forsake you or fail to show up for you. (Joshua 1:5)

As we continue to pray for our government leaders and those in positions of authority, we are thankful to know that God’s commitment to provide and care for us remains unchanged. In the meantime, let’s stay mindful to do what it says in Philippians 4:8 . . .

… whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report;  if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
