Have you ever purchased something only to discover that it won’t work unless you purchase… something else? If you buy a new cell phone it won’t work unless you purchase a charger, too. That new TV remote requires 2 AA’s but, the batteries are sold separately. Thinking about this recently helped me appreciate the comprehensive nature of God’s love.

When God sent His son to save mankind from the consequences of sin, the sacrifice and shed blood of Jesus didn’t just cover our sin. The same blood shed to pay the price of forgiveness of sin, also paid the price for the healing of our bodies from all sicknesses. The same blood shed to pay the cost of our healing, also covered the price of our peace, our joy, our prosperity, our deliverance… you name it, the blood of Jesus paid the total cost of your redemption.

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. –Galatians 3:13-14 NKJV

Our only requirement is to receive it. All of it. Don’t accept forgiveness of sin but then leave healing on the table. Don’t accept the joy but then, forget about the prosperity. God’s love for you is so complete, so all-encompassing, so comprehensive that it covered the full cost of every benefit, every promise the word of God has to offer. Yours to receive. All-inclusive. No assembly required. THAT’S Comprehensive Love.

LifeSpeak with Me:

I receive God’s comprehensive love. Every promise, every blessing and every benefit that Jesus died to provide is a manifested reality in my life, NOW. I declare it is so! In Jesus’ name, Amen
